This class will assist in the understanding of the correlation between structural, functional, and medical functions.
Throughout the year hands on lab activities will be completed using mammal specimens and organs as a comparison in anatomy to the human body and simulated samples for clinical analysis. Discussion of case studies are also incorporated with each system.
Biology Honors
Biology Honors is an inroductory course in life science. Studies will include brief studies of all major facets of living organisms including 1) cell structure and function, 2) survey of major kinds of organisms, 3) selected topics in Human Anatomy and Physiology, 4) genetics and reproduction, and 5) introduction to major ecological and evolutinary concepts.
Honors class will move at a faster pace and will be exxpected to handle more material

SWIM TEAM
I have been the Head swim coach for both teams since 2005. Coral Reef Swim Team has been one of the top teams in the district and GMAC for boys and girls since the opening of the school. As head coach I want to continue on building a competitive swim team and keep this outstanding stamina. Both girls and boys teams have made state qualifiers throughout the years.
“I am looking forward to an exciting new season this fall and anticipating state qualifiers for both boys and girls.” |
