Dismissal- A written note is required for any change in your child's dismissal procedure.

Homework-
Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday. Please check your child's agenda book daily. All assignments are due the next day unless otherwise noted.

Ice Cream Day- Ice cream can be bought on Tuesdays for $0.65.

Lunch- Lunch is from 10:40-11:10. The cost of school lunch is $1.90. There will be no lunch visitation this year.

Spirit Day- On Fridays students may wear the Silver Ridge t-shirt and jeans. On Early Release Days students are allowed to wear an outfit of their choice.

Visitors/Volunteering- You will need to show ID at the office to enter campus. Any parent interested in volunteering must complete an annual on-line application. The website is www.getinvolvedineducation.com.

Accelerated Reader
AR is a computer program that helps monitor a student's independent reading. The child reads a book at his/her level, and then when finished, takes a short quiz on the computer. Parents can monitor their child's progress from home, but quizzes can only be taken at school.

Beep
Through the student portal of this website students can access FCAT Explorer, online encyclopedia, dictionary, and atlas. As well as online textbooks- Florida Go Math, Harcourt Science, Harcourt Social Studies, and Florida Treasures (reading). Parents can access Virtual Counselor and Atomic Learning through the parent portal.

First in Math
This online program allows students to progress at their own pace and master math skills. Your child's user ID and password is located inside their agenda book.

Riverdeep
This is an online learning experience that allows students the opportunity to increase language arts skills. Your child's user ID and password is located inside their agenda book.
