| Welcome to 7th Grade Family and Consumer Science. We will be studying the proper way to prepare and cook food. Nutrirition studies will enhance the students' knowledge and understanding so they can lead a healthy life. Sewing skills develops technical reading skills and allows hands on activites. Many students are babysitting or will be come a parent some day so we cover basic child development and child safety. This is also a time of major changes in growth and development for students. A unit in adolescent skills will allow students to learn about themselves and develop coping skills for world ahead of them. |
