Driver Education
Welcome to Driver Education. Coach Pass and I look forward to this semester. This class will consist of two parts. We will complete our 30 hours of classroom and then complete our 6 hours of behind the wheel driving.
We are approaching the last nine weeks. Please make sure you are here for your driving days so that we can complete the course on time. Teacher-Tom Gouchnour Work hours-7:45-11:15 New Gym Conference Room Class Schedule: 1st block 8:10-9:30 2nd block 9:40-11:20 tgouchnour@fannin.k12.ga.us 706 632 2081 www.classjump.com: A driver education program is designed to teach new drivers fundamental skills and basic knowledge about driving a motor vehicle. All driver education programs are required to use Department of Driver Services-approved standardized curriculum with Department of Driver Services licensed instructors.
The program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. Young drivers may qualify for a driver's license, but they're still learning to drive. They tend to overestimate their abilities behind the wheel. And, as we all know in Georgia, speed limits fluctuate, traffic gets heavy, and rain and snow are hazards.
