Time Will Tell
Hello and welcome! I am Ms. Galloway, and if you are viewing this page you are likely a student or parent of a student currently enrolled in either Honors World History or AP World History at North Cobb High School. Below this message are links to the homework blogs and message boards for each class. Please make certain to check this blog at LEAST once a week (if not every day) for homework assignments and review suggestions.  It is also strongly suggested that students create an account with ClassJump by registering their email to this blog-- this will allow students to receive email updates whenever a new assignment is added.

A word on the organization of this blog: to see assignments scheduled to take place in the future, please click on the link labeled UPCOMING. Do not assume that if there are no assignments listed on the current date that there are no assignments listed for the future.
AP World History
Advanced Placement World History is designed to prepare students for intermediate or advanced college courses. Students will work to understand global processes and connections between different human societies over time. Useful links for this course: World Civilizations: this is a site with general summaries of each of the chapters in our class textbook. There are also multiple choice, true-false, and short answer review questions. Wordle: if you have large chunks of text you would like to see visually represented in a word cloud, this is the place to go.

HEY!  If you're looking for AP World History study materials, click on the "Upcoming" button and go to the entry for May 16th (the date of your AP exam).  You'll find study guides, practice essays, Crash Course videos, podcasts (if Ms. Galloway has the time), and PowerPoints of any lectures given during content study session.

Honors World History
In this accelerated World History course, students will seek to analyze and understand global processes and connections between human societies.

Online resources for our textbook, World History: Patterns of Interaction, can be found here.  You will find review activities, extra materials on relevant topics, and review quizzes for each chapter.
