AP Human Geography is a course that focuses on where people live and why. This can be seen by the distribution, processes, and effects of human populations on the planet. Units of study include population, migration, culture, language, religion, ethnicity, political geography, economic development, industry, agriculture, and urban geography. Emphasis is placed on geographic models and their applications in real world settings by looking at current events.

This semester course is designed to meet the 12th grade requirements for graduation and the State Framework. The major emphasis of this course is to prepare students for the AP exam in Macroeconomics. The theory of Economics will be emphasized in real world settings to prepare students to become better decision makers and consumers.

This course is designed to introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals. Students are exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology. They also learn about the methods psychologists use in their science and practice
