The students should begin reviewing the "H" pages {Handbook} that review the rules leaned with examples and tips for trouble areas in math. Some review tonight and review tomorrow night should help them get ready. |

Divide a circle into five equal parts; letter each part with one of these letters: P,R,I,Z,E. Using a paper clip for a spinner, tally how many times each letter comes up before each letter has been landed on 1 time. Do this for a total of 2 times and find the mean for the total # of the 2 spins. Then do it 3 more times, and find the mean for the toal of 5 tallies.
Next take a circle divided into 8 parts and number each part from 1-8. Using the spinner, keep track of how many times each number comes up for a total of ONLY 20 spins. Then make a bar graph for the frequency of times each number came up,similar to the graph on page 425. |
