The Wearin’ of the Green will begin our week. St Patrick’s Day in Room 8 will include hearing a short story about the legend of Saint Paddy, coloring a pot of gold and then making a tie and hat to wear. I also think there might be something green to eat at the snack table.
The remainder of the week we will be talking about Easter/Spring themed ideas. We’ll color bunnies, watercolor some darling chicks and eggs and then on Friday we’ll have our annual LES Preschool Egg Hunt. Please keep your fingers crossed for good weather as the hunt works SO much better when we are able to get outside and hide the eggs. We will also be working on a secret project that cannot be discussed any further at this time. Parents, you will have to wait until Friday. Sorry!!!
The Letter of the Week is “K” Our target vocabulary is king, kangaroo, key and kite. In addition to a nice day for the egg hunt, we are hoping for a windy day this week so that I can bring in a kite for the children to fly.
Please remember that we'll still have a SHOW and TELL this Friday!! We would love to see both classess have 100% particpation!!!
We’ll be taking spring pictures on Tuesday. We’ll do our best to get a great picture for all. The team of photographers that have been at the school this year have been remarkable in their patience and perseverance to get the best picture possible for our students.
Here’s to another wonderful week in Room 8! Get ready for spring break- it is right around the corner!!
