Stagecraft
In stage craft students will study the following technical theatre units: set design, make-up, costuming, sound design, lighting, and publicity. They will have the opportunity to design and produce models or renderings for each unit based on a play of their own choosing. Students are also given the opportunity to work on the current school play in production.

Acting A & B
Acting A sets the foundation for the rest of the drama program. The units covered include: play analysis, storytelling, puppetry, improvisation, oral interpretation, pantomime and characterization. It is a fast-paced fun-filled semester.
Acting B continues where Acting A ends. Participants work on solo auditions (students are required to audition for the advanced acting program), as well as comedic and serious monologues and scenes. Students also take a look at the fascinating history of theatre in a fun performance based format.

Productions
Each semester students are given the opportunity to audition for Eagle High’s main stage productions. Participation in these shows is a privilege and requires a firm commitment of after school hours throughout the rehearsal and performance process. Participation also provides an excellent venue for students to utilize the many skills they learn in their drama classes while enjoying the rewards of a polished public performance
