updated May 11, 2012 chaperones needed all students must hand-in signed permission slip dress appropriately & bring lunch A year long course which adheres to the New York State Regents curriculum and culminates in a Regents Exam. Living Environment focuses on how organisms maintain homeostasis and interact with the natural world. Students will understand and apply scientific concepts, principals and theories pertaining to the environment and recognize the historical development of ideas in science. Students will experience the content of Living Environment through an inquiry approach. Using available technology, students will investigate the world around them. Students will be provided with the knowledge, prerequisite skills and habits of mind needed for daily living and ethical decision making.
