David Reich, German Teacher, wins PTSA Honorary Service Award

David Reich, German teacher at Ventura High School, has won the PTSA Honorary Service award for his efforts and successful running of the GAPP (German-American Partnership Program). Students in Mr. Reich's GAPP program host German students from VHS' partner-school in Lunenberg, Germany, for three weeks each May. Then, in the summer, VHS students go to Germany to stay with their former guests. In the five years of GAPP, over 130 German students have cone to VHS. If you are interested in participating, see Mr. Reich in room 133 for more information.
