Donors Choose
DonorsChoose.org is a nonprofit organization that connects public school teachers in need of
classroom materials and experiences with individual donors who want to help. At DonorsChoose.org,
public school teachers submit project requests for the specific materials their students need to learn.
Donors from across the country browse the website and fund the projects they find most compelling.

I currently have 2 Live Projects posted on DonorsChoose.org and I am hopeful they will be funded. If you wish to visit either one please click the link.
Moving Seats for Military Kids - Live Project
Privacy PLEASE!!! - Live Project

This year, I was also fully funded for two other projects and to visit them, please click the link:

Writing

Students will be required to write daily. Some writing will be graded, others will be collected as work samples, and some writing will be practice.

Daily Writing also known as John Deere Time. John Deere is a random daily prompt using both fiction and non-fiction prompts that students will be required to write one.

This month will be writing an autobiograpy of our lives. This autobiograpy will move from a rough draft to a published book. My goal is for all students to have their book completed by Open House (September 24).
