Mr. Richardsons CIS I Webpage
CIS I focuses on computer maintenance and repair. Students will be taught how to take a PC apart, put it back together and trouble shoot problems with the Operating Systems and other software. Successful students will complete the IC3 exam at the end of the first year.
Students will learn how to use and explore websites such as Toms Hardware, File Hippo, Google, CNET, BING and products like Avast, Avira and Malwarebytes. The class will work out of the A+ Guide to Managing and Maintaining Your PC 7th Edition and will work with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 operating systems as well as Umbuntu.
