I have been a teacher for over 30 years. Most of those years I spent in small country schools with only one or two teachers in the whole school. I made the move to Crete Public Schools when the small schools closed and have been here ever since.

My husband Doug and I live with three Boston terriers: Jade, Jewl, and Jasper who keep us on our toes. I love my Bostons!

I have one son who graduated from Crete High School and is in the Navy. He is married and has given me a wonderful grandson, Braeden.

My favorite thing to do is to write stories that make people laugh or teach them something new about a land or time they haven't been to before. Reading, of course, also ranks up there with my favorite things in the world.
