Welcome to the Boonton High School Choirs!
Chorus and Concert Choir are elected subjects that explore a variety of musical styles and singing experiences. If you enjoy singing and want to improve your voice and musicianship this is the class for you!

Each choir performs in a minimum of two concerts per year. There are other singing opportunities available for students who desire to sing in more advanced County, State and Regional Choirs. For information regarding these groups click on the link section of this website.


RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR!
The Music Department is sponsoring a trip to Radio City to see the Christmas Spectacular on Monday, December 20, 2010. Any student in Band, Chorus or Music Appreciation is welcome to attend the trip. The cost of the trip is $75.00 and payment is due by Monday, October 18, 2010. Availability is on a first come first served basis. We will leave BHS at approximately 8:30Am and return by the end of the school day.

WINTER CONCERT
December 15- 7:00PM BHS Auditorium

Chamber Choir is an after school activity that requires an audition. There are approximately 20 students in the choir. Auditions take place in September and rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:00PM.

Chorus is a class designed for students with little or no experience in singing in an ensemble. Students in Grades 9-12 may take this class.

Concert Choir is an ensemble for experienced singers. Students must be recommended by the choir director to take the class. Students in Grades 9-12 are included in this choir. This choir sings all of the pieces that the Choir sings as well as more difficult pieces.
