Welcome to an exciting year in Mrs. Kelly's classroom. I am looking forward to a great year with all of you. I will try to make learning interesting and fun. We will be doing a lot of projects, having several speakers come and talk with us and will try to spend some time out in the community. Together we can make this a positive learning experience.
 

• Preparation for Medical Occupations:This is a two hour block class in which you will learn 300 Dean Vaughn medical terms, medical skills, careers in teh medical field and lots more!

 

• Mental Health Issues in Health Care: Learn about the history of mental illness and examine the different diagnoses such as anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, addictions and much more!

 

• Legal and Ethical Issues in Health Care: Want to dive into legal and ethical dilemmas by debating, discussing and researching issues such as stem cell research, euthanasia, the right to die, etc.: Then join us as we learn laws and ethical issues that concern health care.
