Resource Room
The resource room is a concept that has historical roots in both special education and remedial education for struggling learners. It is a class that is intended to be a resource for everyone concerned with education of children with disabilities. Typically, the resource teacher teaches the child with learning disabilities directly for a brief period each day and serves as a resource teacher for the mainstream teachers who work with the child for the majority of the school day..
