| A Little About Me |
Hello, I'm Mrs. Bollinger. I have taught math, Algebra 1 - Trigonometry, since 1997. I started teaching at Oran and loved it there, but I was born, raised, graduated from ('93) and always lived in Jackson. So the move to JHS was a logical choice.
Fun facts... I teach with my sister in law, she's down the hall. And I teach beside the math teacher that I had. A funnier fun fact... my grandma used to tell me that we were somehow related to Jesse James. I don't know whether to believe that? But she was really into the family tree and she was a devoted Christian, so why would she lie?? If it's true... I'm glad "those genes" didn't run strong in the family!
I am married to the Public Works Director of Jackson and we have 2 children, Kyle and Tori.
As a teacher I welcome my students to come in for help after school anytime. |

25 minute class period
Monday and Wednesday's are SSR (Silent Sustained Reading). If you have any school appropriate magazines that you are done with, my kids would love a new selection (just cut your address out - if subscribed).
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are guided study days or travel days for kids to get help from teachers or for the "privileged" kids to go to the commons area (days depend on so/jr/sr). If students are in an advisory class they are to be WORKING on school homework, projects, etc.
