Wow! Grade 8 already! After a review of some language basics, and the re-establishment of some routines, we will be starting a unit on food, menus and restaurants - we all love food! Preparing students to succeed in high school French will be the overall goal of the program this year. There will be more written tests on a regular basis and in the second term there will be a major writing assignment that will require students to organize information into paragraphs. Students generally exit Mt. Pleasant's French program with a solid knowledge of basics and are overwhelmingly successful in high school. This year's class should be no different! On y va!
