American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages
This is the website for the ACTFL. On the website, they have several activities for Professional Development. Another useful topic addressed on the website includes teaching speaking, writing, listening, and reading. It has a lot of useful information along with suggestions for teaching foreign languages in the classroom.


The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese
This is the website for AATSP. You have to register for this site, but it offers a classroom resources site. The classroom resources site has three sections: activities and assessment, definitions, and websites of interests. It also offers a career center!

The National Capital Language Resource Center
This is the website for the NCLRC. It has a section devoted to teaching materials, and it also has some universal materials. There are webcasts from teens around the globe, and it includes links to other foreign language websites. There is also a section devoted to professional development.

The Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition
This is through the University of Minnesota, CARLA. This website offers a great number of resources to educators. Some of the sections include: immersion education, maximizing study abroad, and strategies for language learning.

Internet Activites for Foreign Language Classrooms
This website has sample web lessons to help teachers with integrating technology into a lesson plan. It then has over 70 web-based Spanish lessons, categorized into four Spanish levels.
