My name is Amy Lucas and this is my 20th year of teaching mathematics (19 of them in this school district). I grew up in Cottage Grove, graduated from Park High School, and now live in Cottage Grove with my husband and four children. In my spare time, I love to shop, read, and watch my children's sporting events (hockey, baseball, and soccer). I am a part of the 8th grade HIMALAYAS house this year and I am looking forward to a fun, exciting year at Cottage Grove Middle School! This is a faster paced Algebra 1 course designed to cover all of the 8th grade MN state standards AND statistics. Following this course, students will enroll in Geometry next year.

This class will expose students to all of the MN state standards for 8th grade. Following this course, students will enroll in Intermediate Algebra with Statistics next year.
