U.S. History
The United States history course will be a comprehensive study of major events and themes in the history of the United States. Starting with early colonization of Europeans, the course examines major events and themes throughout United States history. The examination of the United States will conclude with the significant events in the early 21st century. Students enrolled in this course are expected to take the End of Course Test (EOCT) at the end of the semester.

Economics
Basic Economic concepts and economic reasoning are introduced in this course. Topics include: fundamental economic concepts, microeconomic concepts, international economies, and personal finance. The course emphasizes the application of economic principles and theories to analyze international, national, and local events and trends. Students have frequent opportunities to generate solutions to real and hypothetical economic problems. They also employ written and oral discourse supported by graphical analysis in order to illustrate the logic of the conclusions. Students enrolled in this course are expected to take the End of Course Test (EOCT) at the end of the semester.
