One of my favorite websites. www.funbrain.com - Grades K-5. A website with a lot of games (educational and for fun) for kids to play. You can also find games on here that are appropriate for different grade levels. www.multiplication.com - Grades 3-5. A website full of math multiplication games to help students learn their multiplication facts. Sheppard Software - Grades K-5. A website full of games and activities in different subject areas. Lots of variety here! www.starfall.com - Grades K-2. A website that is excellent for beginning readers. This website has games and activities as well as online beginner books and other stories. It's also great for helping teach letter sounds and phonics. www.nimblefingers.com - Grades K-5. A website that is good for helping teach typing skills. Helps kids learn where fingers go on the keyboard, location of keys, and helps with accuracy. www.freetypinggame.net - Grades K-5. Another typing website that is full of typing games. Free Online Jigsaw Puzzles - Grades K-5. A website full of free online jigsaw puzzles for easy, average, and hard difficulty levels. Helps kids learn spatial reasoning and logic. www.studyisland.com - Grades 3-5. Our students can log on and practice skills necessary to succeed on our Missouri MAP Test. Time for Kids - Grades 2-5. A neat website that is Time Magazine but all the articles are geared for kids. A neat way to get news and see what's going on in the world. National Geographic for Kids - Grades 2-5. This is full of articles, games and activities for kids to interact with. Under the Games tab, click on Adventures and they can go on different animal/travel adventures. Fun and educational! Seussville - Grades K-5. This site has Dr. Seuss characters students can explore, play games, etc. Bitesize Games - Developed by people in the UK, this has a lot of interactive game options. Rhyming words, phonics, alphabetical order, pronouns, punctuation, etc. This is good for kids in grades K-2. Children's Storybooks Online - Grades K-3. Free picture books that can be read online - has books on three different reading levels. Game Goo - Learning That Sticks - Great online games where you can practice alphabetizing, phonics, identifing synonyms, antonyms, etc. Mr. Wylie's Educational Games - Wide variety of educational games gathered by a former teacher. Can play games in science, language arts, math, social studies, etc. Roy-Interactive Reading Games - Interactive games for alphabetizing, phonics, rhyming, punctuation, etc. Several levels for different abilities.
