To enhance your technical program learning, embedded Mathematics and/or embedded Communication Arts work may be done to earn an additonal .25 credit per semester. If you are interested, please come to Mrs. Soendker's office or classroom.

Career & Technical Communication Arts credit may be awarded to those students who complete 15 specific Communication Arts objectives. Each objective must be mastered at a 70% or higher rate. Since this course is embedded within another technical class, students must be enrolled in a two- or three-hour block program at MATC. Students can earn a maximum of 1.0 credit over a two-year period. See Mrs. Soendker or talk to your home high school counselor to enroll in Embedded Communication Arts.

Career & Technical Mathematics offered at MATC is a resource established to help prepare students for meaningful employment with businesses/industries who offer competitive positions for future success. Students will master 25 out of 28 math concepts at a 70% or higher rate. Since this course is embedded within another technical class, students must be enrolled in a two- or three-hour block program at MATC. Phase II - Credit Recovery class is a one-period class that meets every day to assist students in completing classwork in Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, or Mathematics to earn and recover .5 credit in a class that the student has previously failed.  Contact your home high school counselor for more information about Credit Recovery.
