My students deserve the best education I can offer. Each child is unique and needs a secure, stimulating atmosphere in which to mature intellectually, emotionally, and socially. One hope as an educator is to instill a love of learning. Education is the most important component of a person's life; it defines who one becomes in later years.
My role as a teacher and guide is to encourage and challenge students to reach beyond their capabilities and to exceed their perceived potential. I also need to be a role model -- it is my responsibility to present myself so students feel comfortable and confident in the classroom. By creating a positive, encouraging learning environment, I know my students will succeed.

Additional work includes vocabulary, grammar, and mechanics. This course is designed to ready students for junior English and beyond and is a state EOC course.
