Welcome to Mrs. Porter's 6th grade F.A.C.S.
It's been a busy beginning to the new school year and their excitement is contagious!
F.A.C.S. will be a one semester class consisting of 18 weeks. It will be broken down into 3 units: Life Skills, Sewing and Nutrition/Cooking. Please see weekly agenda as to what we are doing in class and what the assignments and do-dates are!
I have students from both the Hurricane and Piranha Houses and I will meet with both teams on an alternating basis.
I'm looking forward to getting to know my students, their parents and having a fun year in F.A.C.S!
A NOTE ABOUT ASSIGNMENTS:
If your child has misplaced, lost an assignment or was absent, I can provide the document to them via email. I am requesting this method instead of putting ALL my assignments on ClassJump. Not only would that process be lots of extra work, it would also diminish the responsibility of keeping track of the copies I give them. Staying organized comes with time and practice. In the event something gets lost, have your child talk to me (I need their email if I don't have it) and I will send it the same day!!
Thank you for your help! |
