Dear Parents/Guardians:

Hello! I am excited to have your child in my class this semester/year. I wanted to go ahead and open the lines of communication between home and the classroom, so to begin the year the best way possible. I want you to know that I will be in contact during the semester and year. Your child will receive a syllabus, which includes my expectations, a list of supplies, and policies and procedures. I want the supplies to be in by the end of the second week of school. If you have any questions, concerns or comments please feel free to contact me either by phone at school or by my email address below. My conference time is during 5th period, or by appointment for before school 8:00-9:00AM. I have tutoring every morning and on Monday after school, you will need a pass. I would appreciate if you would fill out the bottom portion of this paper and return it with your child the next day of class. This way I can have a clear line of communication throughout the semester/or year. Again I am excited to begin this year and look forward to working with you and your child. I am always glad to have parents as visitors in the classroom. I would also like to invite parents to speak to my classes about their career and how PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATIONS plays a big part in life.
