Internship/Seminar
Remember: You NEED to provide me copies of your hours worked for each pay period before I can give you credit for the internship portion of the internship program.
CTE: Learning that works for America from NASDCTEc on Vimeo. The Internship is the hands on phase of the Business/Marketing Internship program. Students participate in a job experience outside the school building. Internships can be attained through a placement with instructor, through an internship search, or through a students current working situation. Student work with their teacher to attain an internship experience. The goal of the seminar/internship is that students research and gain experience in a career area they are interested in as a profession. The seminar is part of the business/ marketing internship program and focuses on workplace skills related to students working at their internships. Business topics and projects will be assigned and discussed throughout the year. You will prepare employment materials, learn about many careers, practice team building skills, improve self-management, and experience how business management applies to every career choice. This course is required as part of the Business/Marketing Internship program Efolio Tutorials- Link to Youtube videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5n1h2I-Xeg http://mst.efoliomn.com/CCR http://mst.efoliomn.com/CCR/e-Folio (video tutorials) IF you are not getting your required 8 hours worked each week...you must make up the time in the classroom looking for additional employment, lining up job shadows or informational interviews.
