Spanish 1 is a class in which students explore the Spanish language and culture, covering a wide variety of topics. Units include: Introduction to Spanish, Personal Identification, Education, Food and Drink, The Family, Physical Environment, Community and Neighborhood, Shopping, and heatlh and wellness. All high school students in New York State are required to complete 1 credit of foreign language to graduate high school; upon completion of this class, students will earn their 1 credit and move on to Spanish 2.
