****Note grades cannot be posted on this site. However, for each progress report/report period (every 5 weeks), student grades will be posted in class 1 week before grades are issued. At that time, students will have the opportunity to view all their assignments and grade percentage. Moreover, time will be given during class to discuss any student concerns.

Health is a mandated course for high school graduation. This is a fun and exciting class, giving students the opportunity to explore issues related to personal and community health issues in our society today. In addition,students will learn the skills needed to research,analyze, and apply relevant health information to manage and improve their own health. Topics covered in this course include: physical fitness, nutrition, stress reduction, mental and emotional health, disease awareness and prevention, and the harmful effects of drug abuse.

This class is a mandated semester course for high school students. During the 20-week course, students learn skills necessary to succeed during their high school years. Moreover, students practice fundamental skills necessary for college success and future careers. Goals and values are explored, along with an emphasis on independent responsibility. Activities include, vocabulary building, oral presentations, writing skills, research, and time management.
