Welcome to 6th Grade Science at Lake Middle School!

6th Grade Physical Science
6th Grade Physical Science Message Board
Science is the underlying theme of this course. It forms the basis on which class discussion will be centered. Science includes, and is included in, many facets (areas) of everyday life. In other words, science surrounds us.
The study of science can serve many purposes. It can be utilized especially when making decisions. Science incorporates logic and reason within a framework of methods. Learning the components (parts) of this framework will allow you to ask questions and answer them in a logical fashion. A firm grasp of science can lead to a fuller understanding of an issue and better ways of addressing (dealing with) that issue.
