Welcome To Mr. Bidwell's Webpage
As I begin my second year here at East Ridge I plan to increasing integrate technology in my communication, instruction, differentiation, and overall teaching practices. Please navigate through the following links to the left to further understand this webpage as a useful educational tool. This year I will be teaching American History and AP Human Geography. I am extremely excited and passionate to teach both of these subjects. Both of these content areas play a big part of who I am as a person and as an educator. It will be my pleasure to instill the same passion within each and every learner I have the honor to teach in this upcoming 2012-2013 school year. I look forward to contributing and being a part of the "Raptor Family". AP Human Geography
AP Geography-
Beware! This is a college level course in which you can receive college credit upon your score on the AP exam in the spring. So, the rigor will be demanding and entail extensive outside of the class work and continous studying.
The purpose of the AP Human Geography course is to introduce students to the systematic study of the patterns and processes that have shaped human understanding, use, and alteration of Earth’s surface. Students employ spatial concepts and landscape analysis to examine human social organization and its environmental consequences. They also learn about the methods and tools geographers use in their science and practice.
