Mon: Finish reading Act 2 of The Crucible/Journal 3b. Work on Study Guide questions for Act 2 they will be corrected in class on Tuesday. Tues: Correct questions from Act 2 Study Guide for The Crucible. Journaling and start to read Act 3. Wed: Class will be split in half and half the class will work on small computers on their Final. The other half of class will work on their Opening statement assignment. This assignment will be the students opening statement in court at the Salem Witch Trails. The students will act as a prosecutor or defense attorney for various characters in The Crucible. It needs to be 150 words in length and they need to use 10 vocabulary words in their statement paper from their study guide. Some will present this assignment in front of the class on Thursday. The students will switch from computers to the writing after 25 minutes. Thurs: Some students(picked randomly will present their opening statement assignment.
