Why do this?
ClassJump school sites are not intended to replace your existing school site. The ClassJump system is designed to act as an addition to your existing site.
When teachers and students arrive here, ClassJump will provide a one-stop site for your latest information.

Take immediate control of your ClassJump teacher access and student accounts
With a ClassJump School Website, you will be able to monitor access for all teacher accounts. Teachers who create accounts must be approved BY YOU (the main administrator) before they can begin building their website. This eliminates the possibility that students can create teacher accounts by mistake or students creating sites which are disruptive or inappropriate.
You will also have access to all of your student accounts as well and be able to correct their email addresses if needed and to remove students from your school who do not belong there.

Tightening down your teacher access at ClassJump
Currently, ClassJump does the best we can to monitor new accounts as they arrive. We try our best to delete all TEACHER WEBSITE ACCOUNTS THAT ARE CREATED BY STUDENTS as quickly as possible. While ClassJump administrators do our very best to delete accounts that are disruptive or inappropriate, we do not catch them all. It's important to understand that with thousands of active teacher accounts here, and sometimes hundreds being added daily that there is always a possibility that an inappropriate website can slip through undetected.
What the new school website system provides is a very secure environment for all schools at ClassJump. A teacher account CAN NOT be created without approval from the school administrator.

Create as many sections to your website as you need.

Your website sections can branch out into their own unique areas. For example, creating a section for your school clubs will then give you the opportunity to give each club it's own set of web pages, such as the chess club, the debate team and so on. You can create these for your athletics as well, where each team gets their own area of the site.

Each new section that you add gets it's own calendar for posting events. For example, if you create a section of the site for the chess club, they get their own unique calendar.

Each new section you add gets it's own individual area for posting as many news articles as they like, with document downloads and links to other sites.

Each new section that you add will receive it's own blog, where unlimited posts can be added.

Each new section that you add can have it's own set of photo albums. Each area gets an unlimited number of albums which can contain and unlimited number of photos. |

Add website administrators at any time. Your school web site at ClassJump can have as many content administrators as you wish to designate. If the administrator you add is already a teacher, they will use their same login information as they already use for their teacher account to add and edit content. Assign your administrators permission to edit any of the sections that you have created. You can choose administrators from your existing list of teachers, or even give an existing student permission to edit a section of the site. They will use their existing user name and password (teacher or student) to log in. |

Create private areas that only teachers who are logged in can see. These private areas can contain documents for downloading, a private calendar and articles of interest that can only be viewed by teachers who are logged into their class websites. |
| Customize your site

School websites do come with a limited template. We do not offer a variety of layouts, but the one we do offer is very functional and easy to navigate. You can customize your site colors at any time. You can also add a unique school banner to the top of your pages. Each section of your site also has the option for it's own unique banner image. |

Each section of your site also comes with two different areas to embed special HTML code, if you wish to display YouTube videos, or internet slideshows or other unique embed tags that you pick up from the internet and wish to use. |
| Wrap up your school |
|
When you turn your school website on (you can leave it off while working on it at first) the regular ClassJump banner which appears at the top of every teacher website is immediately replaced with your own school banner on every teachers webpage at your school. All the links you have created for your school will also appear at the top of every teachers page. If you decide to create a custom banner for yourself, this will appear at the top of each teachers site as well, all replacing the existing ClassJump logo and other ClassJump links. |

Three to eleven months in advance: $21.00 per month
Purchase an entire year (12 months): $216.00

What's the refund policy? |
|
|
|
There are two ways to create your school website. The fastest set-up is to pay a $20 deposit fee. Using this method, your website is activated immediately. If after 30 days, you do not wish to keep your school site, your $20 deposit will be refunded in full. If you decide to keep your site, your second month of service will be at no charge, if you have used the deposit method to set up your account.
The other method for creating your school website is to apply for a site. This is a bit more time-consuming, and your site may not be activated for two to three days. Assuming your application is approved, you will have 30 days to try out the site at no charge. If after 30 days, you wish to continue using your new school site here at ClassJump, you will be able to pay for your subscription online and purchase as many months of service as you wish at that time. If after 30 days, you decide that your school website at ClassJump is not for you, then no harm done. Your school website will simply be taken off-line at that time.
Once you have paid your subscription fee, there are no refunds.
