DELETED HOMEWORK DOESN'T GO AWAY!
I tried to delete a homework or event and it did not go away! ... Sorry about that! This is a KNOWN bug at ClassJump. To delete an event or homework assignment, you need to open your calendar, choose the date, then use the trashcan icon in the pop-up window to delete the item. You can not currently delete these from your main page view. We will fix this soon!

LINKS DON'T APPEAR
You have created website links, but they do not appear on your page....
The best way to learn about website links is to open up your links tool and click HELP in the upper right hand corner. You will be provided with a detailed explanation of how this works. The important thing to understand about website links is that you are NOT creating a links page - it's really much better than that! Please read the HELP instructions first, by clicking on your LINKS tool, and then clicking on HELP.

A LARGE DOCUMENT FAILS TO UPLOAD
You have attempted to upload a large file and it never arrived...
The first thing you should understand about ClassJump is that there are NO LIMITS on your disk space or file storage. The next thing you should understand is that transfering very large files to ClassJump can often be frustrating, if not impossible. If a large file fails to arrive at ClassJump, it is not your fault and it is not the fault of ClassJump either. The problem is most likely with your own internet connection, which interprets long delays during file transfer as inactivity, and "times you out".
This is not uncommon! You have a couple of options when this happens. The best option is to get a faster internet connection. If a faster connection is not possible, you may need to break the file into multiple parts, such as page1.pdf, page2.pdf and so on. If the file is an image file such as a JPG file, you may need to edit the file and lower the resolution to 72dpi.

A DOCUMENT ENDS UP AS A ZIP (compressed) FILE AFTER UPLOAD
Your document is compressed as a zip file and this cause problems for students...
The reason for this is your are using MicroSoft Office 2007 and are saving the file as a DOCX file type. In order to correct this problem, save the file as a DOC (save as) file type. The DOCX file type is essentially a compressed file, and this problem is not associated to ClassJump, but to the MicroSoft Office 2007 program itself. Saving your file as a DOC file type using the "save as" option will immediately fix this problem for you.

I WANT TO DELETE MY WEBSITE
My website needs to go away!
You can delete your own website. Log in, click on MY PROFILE. The Delete button will be at the top.

MY CALENDAR IS MESSED UP!
The date displays incorrectly or the date does not appear at all... This is a known issue with Internet Explorer. Sometimes Explorer will work but it will be slow. If you are using Windows, we recommend the FireFox Browser. If your school does not allow for your to use FireFox, they really need to get a handle on that limitation. ClassJump performs flawlessly in this browser on a PC. We would love to be able to fix this so it works just as well in Explorer, and are raising funds to fix it in 2010.

I DELETED A STUDENT
You have deleted a student from your class and need to get them back.... The first thing you need to understand is that you have not actually deleted the student! You have simply removed them from your class. The student account is still active at ClassJump. All the student needs to do is to log in to their account and click on your class from their student home page. ClassJump encourages all teachers to create a student account for themselves to see how this works.

I NEED TO REMOVE STUDENTS FROM MY CLASS
Your school year is over and you are ready to add your new students.... Students can do this themselves if they are logged in. On each class page, they will see a button that allows them to remove themselves from a class. A teacher can also remove students from a class by clicking on the X (remove) button beside a students name in the student admin area. This action does not delete a student account, it simply removes them from the class. Students with ClassJump accounts can change their classes (even their school) at any time and keep the same ClassJump account year after year.

I WANT TO ADD VIDEO AND SOUND AND SPECIAL THINGS TO MY PAGE
