Why the VIP Program?
The Very Involved Program was created from a desire to share with parents what it takes to maintain involvement in their child's high school career and to become a lifelong advocate for their children's success in high school and beyond.
Program Goals
1) Improve communication between school and home.
2) Identify and provide resources and training for parents.
3) Personalize the school environment for parents.
4) Provide concrete, focused, and efficient ways for parents to be involved.
Parents that join our VIP program pledge to do the following:
-Set aside time and read with their children a minimum of once a week
-Schedule a conference to discuss your child's progress with teachers via phone, in person, or email
-Check student's homework every night
-Attend at least one school event SAF, SAC, Open House and/or attending one academic or athletic event or joining a booster organization
-Use technology to monitor student's attendance, grades, and progress toward graduation via Pinnacle Grade Book or Virtual Counselor.
