| November/December= Ancient Rome |
Soon we will finish up our studies of ancient Greece and move on to ancient Rome. We will look at aspects of Rome such as government, religion, daily life, architecture and engineering, and noteworthy historical figures.
We'll also learn some interesting things like the fact that ancient Romans liked to eatmice stuffed with wine and mouse legs, as well as jellyfish and eggs.
We'll discover the key developments in Christianity, and learn about Latin terms and how they relate to modern English words.
Click on your class below for assignments, downloadable evaluation sheets and some of the notebook pages we will be doing (NOT ALL OF THEM), and to watch some pretty cool power points that just might help you study for tests and quizzes along the way.
We've also added a new page for Student Council events and happenings.

October was Breast Cancer Awareness month, and to raise money for cancer research the Student Council sold temporary pink ribbon tattoos and cancer awareness stickers during lunchtime. With the help of the student body, we were able to present a check for $300.00 to Mrs. Gee, a representative for the Cancer Research Fund. WAY TO GO SENATORS!
