On Monday we began our unit called "Interactions with Ecosystems". In this unit we will be studying how living things must live together in order to survive. For homework, students are asked to complete a chart by finding 10 examples of living things, dead things, and non-living things.
Lab Safety Poster (homework)

Today we focused on safety in the science lab. After reading pgs 312-315 in the textbook, we created a list of rules to be followed in the science lab. For homework, students are asked to choose one lab safety rule and illustrate it on 8.5x11 white paper. The drawing should be done neatly in pencil. Time will be given in tomorrow's class to color the sketch with colored pencils. The posters are worth 10 marks and will be displayed in the science lab.
