Welcome to the 7th Grade!
In 7th grade Social Studies, students will explore the major regions of the world, topography, history, culture, political and economic systems, civic awareness, cartography, and the 5 themes of geography. Emphasis will be placed on graphic interpretation, the development of reading, test-taking, and FCAT strategies, as well as, increasing students’ knowledge of technology.
This website will be used to download all necessary paperwork and rubrics that need to be copied. All assignments will be given and discussed in class. |

| Geography Dictionary (33.28 KB) Students are responsible for writing the 5 words each week in their folder. Starting week one with absolute location students must write the word, definition and write it in the correct context in a sentence. Vocabulary will be checked each Friday unless otherwise notified. Additionally there will be a test on the words and at the end of each quarter. |
