6th Grade Biesemeyer

Week of February 9

Field Trip Tuesday!!!!!!!
Looks like it might be rainy and cold
Students should come prepared for the worst and hope for the best. The last time we had bad weather there it was sunny at the school all day but freezing, wet, and miserable on the far east side. So don't let the weather on this side fool you!

Thursday morning is the 'Read In' at school.  We are so happy to have Mr.Smith's brother, a mechanical engineer who's work includes crash testing with dummies. He usually brings some in and shows some video of his testing. The students really enjoy it.

Have a great week!

P.S. Book Reports due Monday :P
Ancient Rome!
I am looking into purchasing the ancient coins. I think they will come out to be about $2 - $2.50 a piece. I am trying to find the best price. We probably won't be doing them until after Spring break.

This week we will be talking about the Renaissance on Monday and then continuing with Rome after the field trip.
