1. Artful Artist uses some form of artwork to represent a significant scene or idea from the reading. Includes many details; setting, characters involved; text optional. This is Student's best work.
2. Discussion Director writes well thought out questions that will lead to discussion by the group. (at least 4). Include answers on a separate sheet; page #s of where answers can be found in story.
3. Capable Connector finds connections between the reading material and Greek mythology outside the text, research required. At least 2 connections required per chapter. This should include the actual story of the Greek Myth, picture(s) and related myths.
4. Word wizard discusses words in the text that are unusual, interesting, or difficult to understand. Defines at least 5 words and identifies prefixes/suffixes and root words. These should not just be words from Greek mythology. (Dictionary.com)
Directions: Students will rotate the roles they complete for homework nightly. Their teacher has told them which role number to begin with; not everyone begins with number 1. Students will rotate roles for each set of chapters. Please see your teacher if you need help or additional explanation.
