Wow! What a great turn-out for our Back-to School Night!
I am so glad that so many of you could make it. I enjoyed meeting new parents to the 2-Crew and and refreshing the kinship of parents of siblings of 2-Crew alumni (Once a 2-Crewmate, Always a 2-Crewmate!). I will be communicating through the Homework Express, this class web-page, as well as periodic newsletters, weekly conduct/homework check-up sheets (they will go home at the end of the week-to be returned on the following school day, usually Monday) and progress reports.

When the AQMD isues warnings of unhealthy air quality, the 2-Crew will stay indoors for our P.E. activities, as well as when the weather is too hot.

As of October 26th, we are learning about measurements, both standard and metric. We will have homework for this unit os study in the "Math in Progress" workbook. Mrs. Merrill's math homework will continue to be assigned on her homework contract as well.

The 2-Crew will be celebrating our Sacrament of First Reconciliation on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012, at 1:00 pm, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church.
We will enjoy a celebratory lunch prior to the Sacrament in the Parish Hall at 10:45 am.
There will be a Madatory First Reconciliation Parent Meeting in the 2-Crew classroom on Wednesday, February, 15th, 2012, at 6:30 pm.

This is our homework contract (assignments for the 2-Crew) for the week. Other information may be included, such as upcoming events and project information

Conduct & Homework Check-Up Sheets go home at the end of the week. Parents/Guardians please initial the sheet and have your Crewmate return it the following school day. It is graded as part of homework assignment.
