Wow! Its a new year with a great new 2-CREW!!! Back-to School Night will be Wednesday, September 5th at 6:30 in the Hall. I am looking forward to meeting new parents to the 2-Crew and and refreshing the kinship of parents of siblings of 2-Crew alumni (Once a 2-Crewmate, Always a 2-Crewmate!). If there were any questions, please feel free to contact me, either through email, or phone me at school. I will get right back to you. I will be communicating through the Homework Express, this class web-page, as well as periodic newsletters, weekly conduct/homework check-up sheets (they will go home at the end of the week-to be returned on the following school day, usually Monday) and progress reports. When the AQMD isues warnings of unhealthy air quality, it is too warm or too cold/wet, the 2-Crew will stay indoors for our P.E. activities.

The 2-Crew will be celebrating our Sacrament of First Reconciliation on Monday, March 11th, 2013, at 1:00 pm, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church. We will enjoy a celebratory pot-luck luncheon prior to the Sacrament, in the Parish Hall at  about 11:00 am.

There will be a Madatory First Reconciliation Parent Meeting in the 2-Crew classroom in February; date and time tba.

FIELD TRIP DRIVERS/CHAPERONS: Parents/Guardians must be fingerprinted/ background check/live scan, have taken on line training Mandated Reporter and driving training from Diocese of San Bernardino.
Car insurance must be updated.

Conduct & Homework Check-Up Sheets go home at the end of the week. Parents/Guardians please initial the sheet and have your Crewmate return it the following school day. It is graded as part of homework assignment.

NO SURPRISES! Beginning in January, we will be learning about measurements, both standard and metric in our Science curriculum . We will have homework for this unit of study in the "Math in Progress" workbook. So...YES, you will see assignments for both Math and Science on the Homework Express for the workbook!
