Happy Birthday to Dawson. We celebrated his July 3 birthday
today. He will become 7 the day before Koko becomes 42.
Have a Happy Day, Dawson. Thank you for sharing the
yummy treats!
Jack, we really enjoyed your German cookies. Thank
you for sharing. Kekse...YUMMMMM!
Go to the 1B website and look for the link about Koko.
We've begun studying her story and how well she
communicates with sign language. I think you and
your 1st grader will really enjoy a lot of things on that website.
It's well worth the exploration.
If you are doing any spring cleaning, keep Wolf Branch in mind.
The Paw Pride Store can always make good use of gently used toys, books,
trinkets, prizes, and games still in nice condition. You know....recycle, recycle,
recycle!

No written math homework. Practice those facts.
We practiced our German #'s to 12 by using a pair of dice and working
with a partner. Use dice at home to try to learn the #'s with your child.
I sent home a sheet of some German words. Try to learn these
along with your 1st grader.
We've learned German words of greeting:
Guten Morgen! Guten Tag! Guten Abend! Guten Nacht!
Check out the 1B website. I showed the boys and girls
that they can not only see and learn some things we will be
studying about Germany, but can also hear some German
midi song files. In just a few weeks, they will have an internet
scavenger hunt. The answers will all be found on that
page.
I recommend buying a set of the addition AND subtraction fact cards.
They really need to have the facts to 20 memorized by second grade.
